In a chaotic world seemingly in disarray, sometimes a night of release and dancing is what’s really needed. Polo & Pan certainly answered the call.
At the Bomb Factory, the French electronic duo’s tropical-infused dance music and seamless production was a breath of fresh air.
Gelli Haha certainly brought something different when she and her band of colorful cohorts opened the night with a surreal performance featuring disco, bubbles, costumes, and tons of sci-fi fun.

Her sillier set kept the crowd entertained with a playful tone much different than Polo & Pan’s chiller ambiance.
Polo & Pan’s stage design was fairly simple at first, but as the show progressed, they added elements that always kept the moment interesting. Several songs also included Zoé Madimmi as a vocalist- adding some new personality to the front of the stage.
As more of the lighting and video elements were revealed, the performance felt like a slowly morphing production as the night went on- always keeping the audience invested in what would come next.

The setlist was a balanced mix of selections from their catalog, with an emphasis on tracks from the recent release 22:22.
As the performance closed with “Ani Kuni,” a cathartic dance moment was clearly what the crowd needed.
