Metalcore and hardcore united for a hard-hitting night of moshing when Dying Wish headlined at The Studio this week. With no barricade, each band brought as much energy as they could muster to Dallas for a crowd that was more than ready to reciprocate that energy for each set.
Dying Wish has constantly hit the road in support of 2023’s LP Symptoms of Survival, but the barrage of touring hasn’t deterred the band from giving 100% to each show. Frontwoman Emma Boster commanded the crowd and was clearly enjoying the moment as she consistently worked the crowd.

Pain of Truth also brought out an enthusiastic response from the audience. There were more call-backs and mic handoffs to the concertgoers than ever before that night as the band’s in-your-face hardcore laid out a compelling framework for Dying Wish’s performance. With additional support from Outta Pocket, Balmora, and Ozone, metalcore and hardcore showed no signs of slowing down.
